Cathy Cutler is a Korean Adoptee whose birth town was Yeoju- a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Her adoption was a private adoption and not facilitated by an orphanage or agency. She was also an impacted adoptee who learned in 2018 that both sets of adoptive parents failed to naturalize her when she was young. Her research into her own past and search for answers led her to 325Kamra. 325Kamra’s mission of using autosomal genealogical DNA tests to connect adoptees with birth parents, Korean War Vets and anyone of Korean ethnicity resonated with her on a personal level. She has a Cell and Molecular biology degree with over 20 years of experience in the genomics space. She has applied knowledge in the areas of research, clinical applications, industry, molecular diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, biotech, and commercial testing labs. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with thought leaders in the genomics arena, environmental sciences and in industry.
She took her first autosomal genealogical test in 2018 with the hopes of connecting to biological family.
