Linda was born in 1964 in a small village north of Paju, South Korea and was originally named Joyce by her American GI father. A couple of years later, she was privately adopted by another mixed-raced couple and lived in Itaewon until July 1973 when the family moved to San Diego, California.

Upon high school graduation, Linda moved to Los Angeles County to attend college and then resided in South Orange County until 2013. During that time, she received a B.S. in Business Management from Pepperdine University and a certificate in Human Resources Management
from Phoenix University and started several businesses. She also married, had children, and became a hockey mom.

Today, Linda lives in Texas and is a mother of three adult children. She is excitedly expecting her first grandchild in 2020. She spends her free time active in her church and community as a volunteer/board member for several non-profits. She reunited with her birth father in 2018 with the help of 325KAMRA and has since gained a new mom, two sisters, a brother-in-law, and a niece.

Linda has a heart for family matters and is devoted to helping adoptees reunite with their birth family by speaking on and advocating for DNA testing.
