Phyllis Doerflein Morefield has been involved in searching her ancestors for 35 years. When she started genealogical research the only methods of inquiry involved trips to courthouses, libraries and cemeteries. Today, however, it involves computer research and DNA testing.

In 2016, thru DNA, Phyllis found herself with a new second cousin which happened to be a Korean adoptee of mixed ancestry. This put her in touch with 325KAMRA. Since that time Phyllis has helped not only her second cousin find bio family but other Korean adoptees as well. Both Phyllis’s father and grandfather served in Korea so she feels a connection with the Korean adoptee community. Working with 325KAMRA, Inc., Phyllis hopes that she can help adoptees reunite with biological family and fill a void that many have felt lifelong.
